Set among rolling hills in Yea, Gable House is a refined take on the Australian homestead, built by Hateley Construct. Black steel gables frame the landscape, while reclaimed brick, timber joinery and polished concrete balance warmth with precision.

Our random exposure mechanical polished floor ties the open living, kitchen and long passageways together. The varied aggregate exposure gives the floor a natural, lived-in texture that sits comfortably beside the reclaimed brick, and the polished surface reflects the light from the expansive glazing.

The owners described the build as transparent and meticulous, with every detail refined until it felt right. We brought the same care to the floor, working with Hateley Construct to deliver a finish that suits a home built to last.
